Forms of payment

When you are making the reservation on-line via internet or via the Reservation Center, you can use following credit or debit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, EuroCard/MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club. Please note that not every Visa Electron card can be used for your online reservation. This type of payment allows us to reduce our cost and to offer you lower fares. Your bank will issue a credit card on your request. Please note that for credit card payments a credit card fee of 2.5 EUR may apply.

Ticket and Check-in

You do not need a ticket when traveling on any SkyEurope Airlines flight. All you need for your journey is your confirmation number and a photo ID on domestic flights, passport on international flights and visa where applicable. Should you forget the confirmation number, please advise our airport staff during check-in for your flight. Check-in will be available at SkyEurope Airlines check-in desks, or at check-in counters identified by a SkyEurope Airlines sign and your flight number. Check-in (for all domestic and international flights) opens 2 hours prior to scheduled departure and closes 30 minutes prior to scheduled time of departure. Any passenger who arrives late will forfeit their seats, and no refund or credit will be given. SkyEurope Airlines regrets that it is also unable to offer a free rebooking onto the next available flight in this case.

Travel documents and visa

Passengers are responsible for their travel documents. You must present your photo ID or a passport (depending on your origin and destination country) when you check-in for your flight. Do not forget a travel insurance, and inform yourself about any entry visa conditions for the country of your destination. You will not be able to board the aircraft if you do not have an entry visa where it is required.

Bagage

SkyEurope allows strictly one piece of cabin baggage, which must not exceed the size of 55x40x20 cm and it must be light enough for the pasengers to place it safely in the overhead lockers without any assistance. Should the size of the cabin baggage exceed the aforesaid limits, the baggage will be carried in the baggage hold, and it will be considered as checked baggage. SkyEurope Airlines permits 20 kilograms of checked baggage per passenger (except infants up to 2 years old) free of charge. The weight of one piece checked baggage cannot exceed 32 kilograms. If your total baggage weight exceeds your standard baggage allowance, you will be charged by our airport staff for the excess weight carried. Please note that the for the following items of checked baggage a special baggage charge is always applicable, regardless of whether the passenger has used the free baggage allowance or not.

Point-to-point travel, no transit

SkyEurope Airlines is a 'point-to-point' airline. That means we transfer passengers from point A to B without any transits. In case you are traveling to a third destination and the flight with our airline is only a part of your journey, we cannot provide transfers for you and your baggage onto the flight to the third destination, whether traveling by SkyEurope Airlines, or any other airline. Of course, your journey with SkyEurope Airlines may be combined with more connecting flights of your choice. Please understand that SkyEurope Airlines is not offering directly any connecting flights to those third destinations, and this is why our airline cannot be responsible for the transfers of passengers and their baggage onto other flights. We also cannot be made responsible for those missing connecting flights, or for any additional costs associated with the transit or consequential losses due to irregularities in your travel itinerary. Please note that any excess and special baggage fees applicable are valid only for one flight sector, and you may be asked to pay these fees for your connecting flight again.
